After our hibernation period, following the death of Michel, oracle is slowly moving towards a possible future through the kind support of a 5 months residency at Morpho.
During our residency we proposed to use the oracle ptractice to forage sensual information in public as well as in telepathci space. What information is unearthed via vocal readings that are invisible to the eye and ephemeral in their essence? Could readings of these spaces change the idea on how they could be used?
Listening to silent or unheard voices that are present in spaces changes us as the practitioners, but also has an impact on these spaces themselves and their public use.
Telepathy allows for connection through distance and another perception of the world we live in. What futures make themselves possible, if we consider past, telepathic, silent or silenced voices?
As giving oracle agency of themselves we moved between intended proposal and allowed things to develop organically.
We opened our studio to vocalist in and around Antwerp, sharing our practice, sharing voices and stories. A soft feeling of new community is sprouting.
